John Melillo was an MP (Military Police Officer) in Vietnam. His job was Front Line Supervision of 26 MPs supervising any situation Civil or Combat in Long Binh, which was the largest Military Installation in Vietnam, involving over 40,000 GIs and 60,000 Vietnamese. During John’s time in Vietnam, he took unique photos that captured not just "Shock & Awe" but also the "Lighter Side of Vietnam". John Melillo’s journey is reflected through his “Life Goes On!” Oil Painting Series.
